Peggy, you saved my life. I am 80 yrs old and have smoked since I was 9 yrs old! That’s 71 years. After 2 visits for hypnosis I stopped cold turkey!! Now I want to tell everybody about Hypnosis. I want to help my sons to quit too. My Doctor is very happy, he says my lungs showed improvement immediately, and I can breathe better.

Hypnosis is Highly Effective

Hypnotherapy is rapidly emerging in the health care field, as a highly effective method for people to use to make positive changes and improve health. It is medically risk-free, simple to do, and benefits young, old, male, female.

What is Hypnosis?

Hypnosis is a natural state of awareness, where your mind is highly focused and deeply relaxed. You can use this state of awareness to benefit your health. Most people compare it to daydreaming, and feel very relaxed and day-dreamy. It is not sleep. You are always fully in control when using hypnosis, and can end the session whenever you like. Hypnosis can not make you do anything against your will. We are often hypnotized when watching a movie, reading a book, or even when driving. It is a very focused concentration on one thing, while all else seems to fade away. During hypnosis, your body and mind respond to your thoughts, mental images, and hypnotic suggestions. Hypnosis taps into the powerful subconscious mind and retains the positive hypnotic suggestions to act, feel and think like a non-smoker. This facilitates the positive changes the client wants to make.

Misconceptions About Hypnosis

The word hypnosis typically brings to mind an image of a stage performer casting a spell on a volunteer who obediently carries out the hypnotist’s suggestion. Unfortunately, it is this misconception about what hypnosis truly is, that may prevent people from using it to benefit their health, and achieve goals. In fact, hypnosis is not some mysterious or magical spell, but a natural state of relaxation that we use all the time, all on our own. It is important to understand that even when this state of deep relaxation is induced by a trained hypnotist, the decision to relax and accept all the positive suggestions and benefits, is within the client’s control. When a trained hypnotherapist, who is dedicated to the health and happiness of the client is found, positive healing suggestions and actions produce the best and most long-lasting benefits.
